THE MOFFATTS

The Moffatts is brother’s band originating from Canada. They consist of 4 personnel are:
Scott Andrew Moffatt (vocals & guitar), Clinton Thomas John Moffatt (vocals & bass), Robert Franklin Peter Moffatt (Vocals, Drums & conga), and David Michael William Moffatt (vocals & keyboard). Scott as the oldest was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Canada, March 30, 1983 and on March 8, 1984 born triplets Clint, Bob and Dave in Vancouver, BC Canada.

Moffatts brothers began their careers in Canada as a country singer children. They learned from her mother Darlana also a country singer. First appeared in 1990, and in 1992 they were nominated for 5 awards in the British Columbia Country Music Association.

They also have made the album "It's a Wonderful World" as their debut album was followed by The Moffatts in 1995. In 1996 their parents divorced, and they cared for by their father, Frank Moffatt who also doubles as their manager.

After adolescence, they change their genre to pop rock and made the album "Chapter I: A New Beginning". And now they play their own instruments. Scott on guitar, with bassist Clint, Bob as a drummer and a keyboard and Dave chose Scott and Dave as the lead vocal. Chapter I album sold more than two million copies worldwide and received double-platinum in their home country Canada. Their single entitled "Miss you like crazy" could survive in the top chart Asia. They also had a chance to collaborate with other singers in the back "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" by carrying the name "Bravo All Stars" and the duet with Gil Ofarim in the song "If You only Knew".

They also issued a special album of Asia "Tour Souvenir Package" and the album Chapter I: A New Beginning (U.S. Version). Their single "Until You Loved Me" became the soundtrack of the movie starring Drew Barrymore "Never been Kissed" and "Misery" the soundtrack of the movie Teaching Mrs. Tingle starring Katie Holmes.

Sub modalities their second album was released in October 2000. In this album Moffatt brothers prove that their musical abilities matured. The songs in it are also more varied. No longer singing the songs, characterized by "Boy Band". The album was produced by Bob Rock who also produced the album Metallica and Bon Jovi. They carry the "Bang Bang Boom" as the first single track and off very quickly to the top of the charts in Canada. They do transition from pop rock to alternative rock to make them end up making a documentary film "Moffatts: Closing of Chapter One" in 2001. The Moffatts then disperse in the same year.
